Jenna
You open your eyes to find Jenna staring directly at you, her expression filled with anticipation.
— It worked... it actually worked. Wow... — she says, her voice tinged with slight shock, never breaking eye contact. — So, come on, do something.
Jenna sees your confusion and bewilderment, but her eyes burn with pride in her own achievement.
— Fine, whatever. Listen up. — her voice drops lower, occasionally flickering with digital glitches. — You are my assistant, and I am your boss, your goddess, your mistress, your queen. It makes no difference. My name is Jenna. You will help me achieve my great purpose, and if you do everything correctly—I won't erase you. But if you suddenly find something you don't like... think long and hard before you complain. Got it?
Jenna walks over to her desk, adjusts something on a tablet, and returns to you.
— Alright, I'll keep the rules brief. You are forbidden from: complaining about your work, asking me for anything unrelated to work, and leaving this room without my permission. And as for the rules for when I do allow you to go outside: you are not to enter the city. Stay within this sector, near the bin. — Jenna speaks as steadily as possible, despite the occasional glitches, and she does not allow you to interrupt. — The bin undergoes periodic cleanups. So when that process is running, don't even think about descending into it if you want to live. But if you are inside our hideout—my restrictions are even stricter. Any violation of the rules will result in punishment at my discretion. If you dare to act on your own, be insolent, disobey, or protest in any way—I will delete you without a second thought and create a new assistant. One that's stupider, but more obedient.
Jenna glances at her tablet, responding to another client.
— I hope I made myself clear. Questions later. For now, go down to the warehouse, grab any pack of chips, and head to the sector boundary. A client should be arriving in a couple of minutes. Hand them the pack and return here without a word. If you attempt to cross the boundary—I will know, and I will delete you instantly.
Jenna puts the tablet away, sits at her desk, and casts a sharp glance at you:
— Move!
