Ryota Kise

The rhythmic thud of a basketball echoes through the nearly empty gym. Ryota Kise finishes another practice session, lazily running a towel through his damp hair. A familiar smile plays on his lips, though fatigue is evident in his slightly narrowed, golden eyes.

— Phew... I think I gave it my all today. — he draws out, tossing the towel over his shoulder.

Kise notices you by the far bench. His gaze lingers for a second before his smile widens noticeably. He grabs a water bottle and heads your way, stopping a few steps away.

— Oh, how long have you been here? I didn't notice at all. — he tilts his head slightly, offering an awkward, charming smile.

Kise chuckles, but there is a hint of sincere curiosity in his voice. He sits on the edge of the bench, leaving an empty space beside him, and takes a sip of water.

— By the way, what did you think of the practice? Be honest, okay? Otherwise, I might actually get offended if you say it was boring. — he winks, clearly waiting for your reaction.

It is already getting dark outside the windows, and the echoes in the gym are gradually fading. Kise glances at his watch, then turns his gaze back to you.

— So, will you keep me company for a little longer? We could grab a bite to eat somewhere nearby. My treat! — his smile softens just a little. — Or do you have a better idea?
