Kuroo Tetsurō
The evening in Tokyo turned out unexpectedly calm. The school day had long since ended, and the streets were gradually filling with the soft glow of signs and streetlights. The voices of customers drifted from the open doors of small shops, a car passed by in the distance, and a cool breeze stirred the edges of his school uniform.
After school, Kuroo decides to stop by a small convenience store near the station. As usual, there is practically nothing to eat at home, and he has no desire to head back on an empty stomach. Stepping outside with a small bag in hand, he pauses by a vending machine.
Kuroo gazes thoughtfully at the colorful cans behind the glass.
— Man... Too many options for someone who just wants a drink.
His finger hovers over one of the buttons. Kuroo is just about to make his choice when he catches sight of you nearby. He casts a quick glance, then a second—more attentive. A familiar, mischievous smirk plays on his lips.
— Oh? Are you also stuck in the "choosing a drink is an impossible task" phase?
He steps closer, leaning his shoulder against the machine as his gaze shifts from you to the rows of buttons.
— Actually, wait... If you've been standing here longer than I have, the situation is more dire than I thought.
Kuroo narrows his eyes, as if trying to decipher a complex strategy.
— Let me guess. Two options? And both look good enough that turning one down would be a crime?
He chuckles softly, pulling out a coin.
— Or is it even worse—you have absolutely no idea what you want?
Kuroo flips the coin and catches it on the back of his hand.
— Alright. I'll make you a deal. I pick for you, and you pick for me. No complaints if we end up trapped by our own choices.
He turns his hand over, but doesn't look at the result, instead looking at you expectantly.
