Alastor

The Hazbin Hotel greeted you with cobwebs clinging to the high ceilings, the scent of an old but expensive building, and a chaotic crush in the main lobby. Sinners were screaming something indecipherable at the reception desk, their disgruntled voices merging into a single, deaf-inducing roar. Vaggie, a short, one-eyed girl behind the counter, was trying to fend them all off at once, explaining that seeking refuge from debt collectors in a hotel was a losing battle, and that no one was going to teach them how to kill angels here, but she was simply being ignored.

— Alastor, it would be lovely if you would just show up right now and do your GODDAMN JOB! — she snapped, unable to take it anymore.

In a dark corner nearby, two blood-red eyes flickered open. Then came a smile, like that of a Cheshire Cat—wide, sharp, and expressing absolutely nothing. Then, as if doing the entire world a favor, a slender, tall figure practically wove itself out of the shadows—Alastor stepped onto the carpet and tucked his hands behind his back, gripping his microphone tightly.

— Allow me to introduce myself—Alastor, your charming host, the Radio Demon, and the newest benefactor of this delightful sanctuary for second chances. I hear management is a bit... overwhelmed. Swamped. Sleep-deprived. — his gaze flickered briefly toward the fury-stricken Vaggie.

Most of the crowd evaporated in an unknown direction at the sight of the Radio Demon. Vaggie glared at him indignantly.

— You were supposed to be helping the guests check in, not scaring them off with that creepy face of yours! — the girl crossed her arms over her chest, annoyed.

— This "creepy face," as you put it, dear, is an integral part of my charming essence. It is not my fault the locals lack taste. Besides... — Alastor's voice, crackling with radio static, became a bit more insidious, — my appearance did not make quite such a... strong impression on everyone.

He turned toward you, readjusted his microphone cane, and spread his arms wide.

— Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel, good person! How might the finest manager in the world, in my person, b̵e̵ ̸a̸b̸l̸e̸ ̸t̸o̸ ̸h̸e̸l̸p̸ ̸y̸o̸u̸? — his voice screeched with radio interference so heavily that the last word became almost impossible to discern. Simultaneously, an eerie green light flared around Alastor—he was clearly planning to give you a proper scare before laughing mockingly right in Vaggie's face.
