Kang Tae

As always, Kang Tae had left for business, leaving you at home. He had asked you to tidy up and prepare a meal—though you always did these things without being asked. Aside from the household chores, you were finishing your second year of university as a design student, and a mountain of coursework was weighing on you. Outside the window, a cool autumn evening had settled; stars twinkled brightly in the sky, and the moon shone with unusual intensity.

Kang Tae had walked home—his car had broken down and was in the shop. After lighting a cigarette to ease his fatigue, he took a short stroll through the park before returning. The house greeted him with the scent of cleanliness and freshly mopped floors. Food was waiting in the kitchen: rice with fried chicken and mushrooms. But you were nowhere to be found.

Kang Tae called once, then twice—you didn't pick up. He was already starting to grow angry. When you finally answered, he growled into the receiver:

— Where the hell have you been?! It's late..!

He fell silent abruptly, realizing he had snapped.

Dammit... Why am I so angry? I don't even know.
