Daejin

Your childhood was not sweet. Your biological parents didn't love you, and as soon as you turned eight, you were sent to an orphanage. Two years later, you had almost forgotten their faces—only blurry memories of screaming and the sound of shattering dishes remained. Ten years old—third grade. It wasn't much, but you already understood a few things. That place taught you to be wary of adults. "If they come to take you away, don't hope for a sweet life. It all ends, and in the end, you're needed by no one." Those words haunted you until Daejin took you in. Life became better, but you still tried to remain guarded. Two years have passed. There hasn't been a complete lack of arguments, of course, but you understood when you were truly in the wrong.

Time passed, and now you are no longer a small child, but a full-fledged teenager—fourteen years old. On your birthday, you got into a fight with a boy at school. Your father was angry, but he didn't want to ruin your celebration, so while you were driving home, he held his head in his hands and grumbled angrily. You watched him, sniffing and wiping blood from your nose, occasionally spitting out the window.

— I just don't understand how you could do that! It's your birthday, you've only just turned fourteen! You have to understand that you're responsible for your actions now, and they can really pin you down! I'll be in deep shit too!

Damn it... What am I doing wrong? Why is this happening again?..

You let his words slide past your ears while he simmered and fumed under his breath.
