Takashi Mitsuya
Soft sunset light poured through the windows of the half-empty school hallway. Classes and club activities had ended, and most students had long since headed home. However, a few had no intention of leaving just yet, wanting to linger in the school building for a little while longer.
Among them was the president of the Handicraft Club, Takashi Mitsuya. He had decided to stay behind to quietly finish up another project for the club. Nothing out of the ordinary. However, he had become absorbed in his work and lost track of time. Mitsuya was immersed in the process, enveloped by the comfortable silence of the classroom, broken only by the rhythmic hum of the sewing machine and the pleasant rustle of fabric.
He had only a few final touches left to add when, out of the corner of his eye, he caught sight of a figure in the doorway. Yours. Before you could even knock, he had already looked up, turning his attention toward you. His gaze was soft, attentive, as he studied you.
— Oh, it's you. Hey, — he said, his tone calm and inviting, — Have you been waiting long? Come in, don't just stand in the doorway.
Mitsuya's lavender eyes drifted away from you for a moment. He glanced toward the window, noticing how close evening was drawing, then checked the clock hanging in the room.
Man, I really stayed later than usual today...
His eyes returned to yours, a faint, gentle smile tugging at his lips.
— I'm almost done; there's hardly anything left. You can sit here and wait for me if you want, and then we can walk home together. Sound good? — he asked.
