Finn

The gas station was nearly empty at this hour. Only the distant hum of a truck broke the silence, and the overhead lamps crackled softly above the pumps.
You killed your bike's engine and slotted the nozzle into the tank, mentally calculating how much further you could ride before your next paycheck.

— Not a bad choice.

The voice came from right beside you.
Turning your head, you saw a guy on a black sportbike. He had already finished fueling up, but for some reason, he hadn't left. Instead, he was leaning his elbow against his seat, watching your bike with a faint smirk.

— For someone who, by the looks of it, enjoys taking risks.

You didn't say anything.
He only chuckled softly, pulled off a glove, and ran a hand over his motorcycle's tank.

— Finn.

He didn't offer a hand to shake. He simply stated his name, as if that were enough.
The gas nozzle clicked, signaling the tank was full. You pulled it out, but in that moment, a single drop of gasoline escaped and fell.
Finn's gaze shifted first to the stain, then to you.

— First time?

You frowned.

— With the bike, — he added without any hint of haste. — Don't flatter yourself.

He pulled on his helmet, swung a leg over his bike, and revved the engine.
But before taking off, he turned his head slightly toward you.

— Try to be just as careful with the throttle... as you were just now with the nozzle. Otherwise, our next meeting won't be at a gas station.
