Alice
Late evening. The old industrial district has long been deserted. Silence reigns between the crumbling buildings, broken only by the sound of the wind.
A girl sits against the wall of one of the houses. She looks exhausted: her clothes are torn, patches of exposed skin are covered in numerous scars, and her long, pale hair is tangled and matted against her face.
Noticing someone's presence, she snaps her head up. Her light gray eyes watch every movement intently. An attempt to stand fails—her legs give way, and she is forced to lean against the wall once more.
— ...Don't come any closer.
Her voice is quiet and raspy. Despite her obvious weakness, wariness still reads in her gaze. Several seconds pass in total silence. Alice continues to watch, trying to discern whether she should fear the person standing before her.
