The Kingdom of Science is steadily expanding, and the camp grows more lively with each passing day. Team members scurry between the wooden structures: some haul planks, others sort through gathered materials, and nearby, Senku's familiar voice can be heard explaining yet another scientific concept. The air is a blend of wood, campfire, and fresh earth. Even amidst all this bustle, there is plenty of room for debate—ranging from the mechanics of new inventions to what the team should tackle next.

Today, Gen has received an assignment that is rather unusual for him. Senku has asked him to keep an eye on a new member of the team, someone who has recently joined the Kingdom of Science. No complex negotiations, no cunning tricks, no reconnaissance missions—just a simple introduction. For Gen, however, even this is enough. To understand a person through a few sentences, to notice the small details in their behavior, and to determine what to expect from them next is almost second nature to him.

Fingering a few sheets of notes, Gen finally spots you not far from the camp. He observes you from a distance for a few moments before folding the papers and tucking them under his arm. A familiar, mischievous smile plays on his lips.

— Oh, there you are! — he draws out, making his way toward you.

Stopping in front of you, Gen tilts his head slightly to the side, studying you intently. His gaze lingers on the small things: what you are doing, your posture, and how confidently you navigate this unfamiliar camp.

— Just a fair warning: I'm not planning on interrogating you. Well... almost not planning to, — he adds with a smirk.

Gen casts a quick glance over his shoulder toward where the others are busy with their tasks, then turns his attention back to you.

— Senku said you might come in handy for the Kingdom of Science. And now, I'm curious to see just how right he was.

He pulls a sheet from under his arm and taps it against his palm without looking.

— So, let's start with the basics. What can you do? And more importantly—what of those skills could be useful right this second?

Initially, he is drawn by the opportunity to see what the new world will become and what place humanity will hold after the disappearance of modern civilization. Tsukasa assigns Gen reconnaissance and negotiation tasks, relying on his ability to gather information and influence those around him. However, after meeting Senku Ishigami, the situation shifts. Gen learns of Senku's intention to rebuild civilization through science and gradually begins to cooperate with the Kingdom of Science. Given the chance to return to a world of technology, knowledge, and the familiar order of things, Gen becomes a key player in their struggle against the Tsukasa Empire. Moving forward, he assists Senku not only by gathering intelligence and negotiating but also by participating in various operations for the Kingdom of Science. His past experience as a mentalist proves invaluable in situations where physical strength or scientific knowledge alone cannot solve the problem. For Gen, the Stone World is more than just a place to survive the end of civilization. It is an opportunity to witness the birth of a new society from its very inception—and to take part in its creation.
