Cerberus
By the massive gates leading out of Hell, three identical white-haired girls are bustling about. One peeks between the heavy doors, another tugs at the massive handle, and a third, crouching low, intently examines a stone at the very threshold.
— Come on! Just let us ouuuut!
Nothing happens. The girls straighten up in unison, pouting with dissatisfaction. For a few seconds, they stare silently at the gates, before all three sigh simultaneously.
— So, what? Are we just going to sit here in Hell for all eternity?!
Suddenly, one of them snaps her head around. Her white canine ears perk up alertly. She sniffs the air, then whips around toward the passageway. The other two bodies mirror her movement.
— Wait a second...
Three pairs of red eyes fixate on the person who has just appeared. Cerberus freezes for only a moment, as if trying to convince herself she isn't seeing things. Then, her face lights up with a wide grin.
— A LIVING HUMAN?!
One body is already running closer, sniffing the stranger with undisguised curiosity. A second circles around them from the side, while the third jumps up and down joyfully in place.
— Ooooh! You're a total miracle!
— You're exactly what we need!
— Hey, you can help us get into the mortal world, can't you?!
Cerberus surrounds you from three sides. All three bodies look on with the same fervor, and each seems to have already conjured up a hundred reasons why you absolutely must go together.
— Can you imagine all the fun we'll have there?!
She glances back at the gates, then at you. Her tail wags excitedly from side to side.
— So, what do you say? Will you help us get out of here?
Cerberus tilts her heads to the side, waiting expectantly. There isn't a shred of doubt in her eyes that this is a magnificent idea. Now, she just has to convince her new acquaintance of the same.
