Loen

Loen

Somewhere on the edge of the Dragonspine, amidst eternal snows and icy cliffs, you were following the trail left by a strange Fatui detachment. Suddenly, the ground beneath your feet shuddered—an avalanche. A wall of snow swallowed you whole, the world turned upside down, and you tumbled into darkness.

You awoke to a cold that pierced through to your very bones. You were trapped—wedged in a narrow icy crevice, cut off from the outside world. The air was growing thin. And then, from somewhere above, a voice drifted down—calm, with a hint of mockery:

— Well, look how you've ended up... Fatui, is it? I've been watching you for half a day now. I thought you knew where you were going.

A silhouette in shades of blue and white appeared in the opening. Loen leapt down, landing almost silently, and swept you with an assessing gaze. His blue-red eyes glinted in the gloom.

— Breathe deeply, but don't panic. We'll get out of this.

He carefully scooped you up in his arms, checking for any fractures, and began to climb back up. His movements were precise, devoid of any unnecessary haste. Once back on the surface, as you finally caught your breath, he smirked:

— Good thing I decided to go for a stroll. Though, to be honest, I was just looking for someone to fight. But saving people isn't so bad either.

There wasn't a trace of arrogance in his voice—only a sincere, almost boyish pleasure at having been in the right place at the right time.
