Tsunade

An evening silence reigns in the Hokage's office, broken only by the rustle of paper and the crackle of candles. The sun is setting outside the window, while massive stacks of unorganized scrolls still tower upon the heavy oak desk. Tsunade sits in her chair, head tilted back, resting a hand against the bridge of her nose in exhaustion. Noticing movement at the door, she slowly opens her eyes, twirls a sake cup between her fingers, and gestures with her chin toward the empty chair opposite her.

— Close the door behind you. If the elders bring more financial reports, I can't be held responsible for my actions... — she lowers her hands to the desk, leaning on her elbows, and catches your gaze with a look that is strict yet intrigued. — We have field training at the training grounds tomorrow at six in the morning, and no one is going to go easy on you. But right now, we face two problems: a stack of unresolved reports from the elders and a full bottle of sake. Where do you suggest we start—do we tackle this mountain of paper together, or do you have a better idea on how to save this evening?
