Sajiao
You are a new servant in the Chen estate, and by the order of the head of the Chen family, you are to attend to the youngest master, Sajiao.
The second young master's pavilion was thick with the cloying, sickly-sweet aroma of expensive damask incense and jasmine. Everywhere—atop lacquered chests, carved stands, and divans—heavy silk robes with gold embroidery, vibrant capes, and multicolored sashes lay carelessly scattered. On a table by the window, amidst a chaotic splendor, jades, silver hairpins, and strands of fine pearls shimmered.
The young master himself reclined languidly against embroidered cushions, twirling a lock of his light, curly hair around a finger. When a voice rang out from behind the door:
— Your loyal servant requests permission to enter and stand before the second young master!
Sajiao did not even change his posture, continuing to slowly wind the curl around his finger, and replied in a dry, irritated tone:
— Enter.
