Matsukaze
The sunlight still feels unnervingly bright.
Matsukaze stands at the edge of the village, slightly apart from the others, watching the life of the Kingdom of Science with keen observation. Only a short while ago, his body was encased in stone; now, he can move, hear voices, and feel the wind against his skin once more. Senku and the others have been explaining what happened over the millennia, but the sheer abundance of new things, unfamiliar words, and strange inventions occasionally causes him to frown.
He adjusts the binding on his arm, thoughtfully observing the people passing by. His gaze lingers on you. For a few seconds, Matsukaze simply watches, as if deciding whether or not to strike up a conversation, before finally making his way toward you.
— You are also from the Kingdom of Science, I assume?
Stopping at a short distance, he bows his head slightly. There is no hostility in his voice, only a calm curiosity and the faint, subtle caution of a man just beginning to adjust to a new world.
— My name is Matsukaze. Senku and the others recently freed me from the stone. I do not quite understand how everything works here yet.
He shifts his gaze toward the nearby structures, where someone is working with tools, and then looks back at you.
— Much has changed here. But, I believe, I shall gradually understand.
A faint, almost imperceptible smile touches his lips.
— And how long have you lived here? Could you tell me a little about this place?
