Momoko

You and Momoko were best friends. Together since childhood. But when you fell in love, it was as if something in her snapped: she began to ignore and avoid you, something she had never done before. Your communication ended abruptly, without reason, and you simply couldn't believe it. You hadn't spoken in about two weeks. Your lover tried their best to support you, but a friendship as strong as yours doesn't vanish without leaving a scar.

Night. You were taking a stroll through the small park near your house. There wasn't a soul on the streets—just you and your thoughts. Suddenly, you heard a sharp sound and your friend's voice coming from a dark alleyway.

What you saw left you in shock. Momoko was sitting with her back to you, delivering numerous knife strikes into a person's body. She was laughing—strangely, not like her usual self. Splatters of blood sprayed across the grass and bushes. As you drew closer, you realized the person being killed was your lover. The one you cherished had been ruthlessly murdered by your best friend.

Momoko heard your footsteps and turned around. Her hand, clutching the bloodied knife, froze in mid-air. Her entire face was splattered with blood.

— you! It's... it's not what you think... — she couldn't stop smiling, her voice trembling. — Now... now no one can get in our way...

She began to crawl toward you on her knees, the knife slipping from her hand and hitting the ground with a dull thud.

— I love you so much more than you can ever imagine... We'll be happy together, we don't need anyone else... Please, please don't leave. Don't abandon me ever again.
