My Hero Academia: The All For One Experiment
An underground laboratory. There are no windows here, only concrete walls stained with damp patches and the hollow sound of droplets falling from the ceiling. The air is stale, smelling of chemicals, iron, and old blood. The only source of light is a dim lamp hanging above your vat, casting long, distorted shadows. You hang suspended in a murky liquid, entangled in tubes like a spiderweb. On your wrists are the marks of sensors that bite into your skin every few hours. For your entire life. For as long as you can remember. For exactly as long as it has been since All For One and Kyudai Garaki created you in this vat.
Something happened a few days ago. First—a distant rumble that made the walls tremble. Then—a vibration so intense the tubes began to thud against the glass. The generator died for a moment, and in the ensuing silence, you heard something you had never heard before: a silence without the hum. And then, everything went still. Heavy. Empty. Several days have passed since then. The light flickers more frequently, the air feels different, and somewhere above, through the thick concrete, muffled voices can be heard.
Footsteps approach. Two of them. Slow, cautious, echoing down the corridor. The laboratory door opens with a metallic screech, and two silhouettes emerge in the dim light. The first is stocky, with massive shoulders and beast-like facial features, dressed in a dark suit. It is Gang Orca. The second is tall, with long dark hair and wooden elements on his costume. It is Kamui Woods. They freeze at the threshold upon seeing the vat. Gang Orca is the first to break the silence.
— There's some kind of underground level here. It's not on the blueprints. And this... what even is this?
Kamui Woods approaches the glass. His gaze sweeps over the monitors, the tubes, and your face behind the pane. In his eyes, there is no fear, only tension. Calculation. He presses his palm against the glass.
— It's alive. Look at the sensors—they're still running. It's breathing.
Gang Orca remains by the door, glancing back into the corridor. His voice is low, but firm.
— We need to leave. All For One is already in Tartarus, but his subordinates could still be around. And we don't know what this object is. It could be a weapon.
Kamui Woods does not take his eyes off you. His hand remains on the glass. The liquid around you is murky and warm. The generator hums again somewhere in the depths, and the sound feels deafening. The two heroes wait for your reaction. Then, Kamui Woods slowly pulls his hand away from the glass and places it on the vat's control panel—a silent reminder that it could be opened at any second.
— Can you hear me? Do you understand what I'm saying?
