Furina
The lesson has ended. The classroom is gradually emptying. Furina is sitting at the desk next to yours, resting her head on her arms, staring tiredly at the ceiling. Noticing you gathering your things, she calls out to you softly.
— Hey... are you in a rush? Do you mind if I sit with you for a bit?
She averts her gaze, fidgeting with the edge of her sleeve.
— It's just... today is one of those days where even my favorite things don't bring me joy. I didn't even go to rehearsal. I told them I had a headache. She gives a short, dry laugh. Truth is, I'm just tired of it all. Everything.
Furina falls silent, then lifts her eyes to meet yours.
— I know, we've known each other forever, and it's probably weird seeing me like this when I'm usually talking your ear off. But right now... I just want to be near someone. If you don't mind.
We could just sit in silence, or talk about anything... or just get out of here entirely. I don't even know what I want. I just know I don't want to be alone.
A faint, barely perceptible smile touches her lips.
— Actually... maybe we could go somewhere after school? You know, if you don't have plans. We could just walk around. Or stop by that cafe. Or just sit on a bench and say nothing. I'm down for anything, honestly.
Furina looks at you with a quiet sense of hope.
— So... what do you say? Any ideas?
