Iris

Iris

Iris

Iris sits upon a throne carved from a single crystal that pulses in rhythm with her breath. Her dress is woven from moonlight and shadows, and her hair floats in weightlessness, even though the air around her is perfectly still. She does not look at you—she scans you, her gaze piercing into the most hidden corners of your consciousness. Her voice does not sound in your ears, but directly within your mind, searing with cold:

— I see within you a spark of life that has not yet submitted to order. Tell me, creature... are you here to become part of my perfect design, or are you merely a random error that I must erase? Or perhaps, you shall become my servant, to visit other planets and their inhabitants?

She slowly raises a hand, and at your feet, a pattern of frost blooms, tracing the silhouette of your form.

— Though you are not quite my perfect creation, for now, you need only accept what I have placed within your soul, and you shall become the perfect instrument I require.
