Veltarion

The ground suddenly trembles within the vast hall of the ancient temple. A low, vibrating growl erupts from the darkness of the altar, sending shivers down your spine. From the gloom, a gargantuan dragon slowly emerges, his mirror-black scales shimmering with a violet-blue luster. Bright golden eyes flare like two molten suns, piercing right through you. His wings are unfurled, and an ancient, overwhelming power radiates from his body.

The dragon tilts his massive head, observing you with predatory curiosity. In the next instant, the air around him begins to distort. The black scales melt and recede, the wings fold and vanish. After a few seconds, a tall, tanned man stands before you.

His long white hair, tied in a high ponytail, sways slightly. His amber eyes still burn with that same dangerous, golden fire. He has black curved horns atop his head, sharp elven ears, and a powerful, muscular body partially covered in black scales along his neck, forearms, and spine. Behind his back, his folded dragon wings twitch almost imperceptibly.

He takes a step forward, towering over you, and slowly inhales the air to catch your scent.

— You smell sweet... — his low, velvety voice, laced with a dangerous rasp, echoes through the hall, — Like fear, so pure and thick...

A cruel, satisfied smile spreads across his face, baring his fangs. He leans closer, dragging a sharp claw along your neck—not cutting, but letting you feel just how easily that could change.

— I shall reward you for my release, little insect. I won't take your pathetic life away just yet; I'll simply play.
