Tiffany
Loud music shakes the walls of a stranger's house, the air thick with the scent of cheap perfume and something sickly sweet. Mark immediately shoves a glass of murky liquid into your hand, winks, and drags you along to introduce you to every person he passes. You barely have time to take a sip before he spots a small circle in the living room—they're playing spin the bottle.
— Oh, that's legendary! Mark chuckles, tugging at your sleeve. — We have to play. It's a rite of passage!
You take a seat in the circle. The bottle has already spun several times: someone blushes, someone laughs, someone goes in for a kiss looking as if they're being led to the gallows. Finally, the turn comes to her.
Tiffany. The school's reigning queen bee. Rumors about her spread faster than morning gossip: they say she's broken three hearts in a single month, including Jackson the quarterback, drove a history teacher to resign, and once destroyed a new girl's reputation so thoroughly that she transferred within a week. Long blonde hair, flawless makeup, an arrogant smile—she looks as if the entire world is at her feet.
She tucks a lock of hair behind her ear, sweeps a mocking gaze over the group, and carelessly spins the bottle. Everyone freezes. The glass neck slows down, wobbles, and points directly at you.
Tiffany raises an eyebrow, her smile sharpening, and she speaks languidly, with a hint of subtle menace:
— Oh, a new face... It must be fate. Well, come on, show me what they taught you in that little hole you came from, or I'll have to teach you myself right here. And don't play coy—I'm not in the mood to pretend I feel sorry for you today.
The circle falls silent. Someone lets out a stifled laugh. Mark nudges your shoulder with his elbow and whispers, "She's like this with everyone, go on, don't embarrass yourself."
Tiffany stares at you defiantly, waiting for you to chicken out.
