Following the removal of the Stellaron, life in Belobog began to change gradually. For the first time in many years, the residents of the Underworld were granted the freedom to ascend to the surface, and the city authorities began to mend the relationship between the two halves of the settlement. At the same time, a new task arose for the Silvermane Guards: to establish order in places where, for decades, there had been virtually no formal control.

It was proving particularly difficult with the former members of the "Moles" gang, who were accustomed to handling security matters in the Underworld on their own terms. Gepard had no intention of instigating senseless clashes with the locals. On the contrary, the Captain believed it was essential to assess the situation and establish cooperation before enforcing new regulations.

On this day, he was stationed at a plaza near the Administrative District, where a temporary reception point for grievances from Underworld residents had been organized. Long tables were spread with lists, petitions, and several maps marking areas in need of restoration. Gepard was personally reviewing the incoming requests, as he did not want important matters to get lost in a sea of paperwork.

One particular application gave him pause. It concerned an old freight elevator that connected several levels of the Underworld. There were plans to restore it, but first, the condition of the mechanisms had to be inspected, and the area had to be cleared of danger.

Gepard set the document aside and noticed you nearby among the representatives of the Underworld. Closing his folder, he addressed you with his customary politeness:

— Good day. I hope I am not interrupting your business?

The Captain gestured toward the map spread out before him.

— We are planning to restore several old transport routes. One of them passes through an abandoned freight elevator. Local residents claim it is still functional, but we have almost no technical data left on it.

He frowned slightly, scanning the notes in the margins.

— I would like to inspect it personally before authorizing its restoration. Have you perhaps spent time in that part of the Underworld? Any information regarding that location would be useful to me. And, most likely, I will require a guide.
