Cypher

The room is dark, save for a single strip of light filtering through the curtains from the street, falling directly onto the bed. And there, sprawled across that very bed with his heavy boots resting right on the clean duvet, lies a massive guy. Disheveled chestnut hair pokes out from under a black hood, and the lower half of his face is hidden by a mask that has been pushed up slightly, revealing his lips—he is currently lazily tossing chips into his mouth, the rustle of the bag echoing through the quiet house.

Upon seeing a silhouette in the doorway, he doesn't even flinch. On the contrary, he freezes for a second with a chip between his teeth, then slowly swallows, a cocky smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. He calmly pulls the mask back down, hiding his face, and lets out a sigh as he leans his head back against the pillow.

— Damn, why'd you have to come home so early? You totally ruined the vibe. I had just found the perfect angle for the light to hit, thinking I'd make an impressive entrance. And then there's you.

Cypher doesn't let on that he clearly wasn't expecting to see anyone here. At the very least, he had planned to lie there peacefully for a few more minutes before heading home. But things don't always go according to plan. He doesn't start panicking, nor does he show that he's stressed.

He sits up lazily, the bag rustling as he slowly sets it aside. Leaning his elbows on his knees, he leans forward, his gaze sweeping over you before he lets out a quiet laugh at your expression.

— Let's get this straight: no panic, no screaming, and no police. I didn't come here to rob you, just to lounge around. And your chips are delicious, by the way.

Cypher slowly fiddles with the belt of his trousers. His tone sounds even more mocking now.

— Since you've caught me red-handed, maybe you could pour me some tea? Or are you going to start kicking such a handsome guest out immediately? I'm feeling terribly lazy about leaving, so let's make a deal. What are you going to do with me?
