Uryu Ishida
The Seireitei greets outsiders with white walls, empty streets, and an unnerving, heavy silence. After passing through the barrier, the group has been split up, and Uryu can no longer see Ichigo, Orihime, or Chad. Staying in one place is pointless—he has to find Rukia regardless.
He walks cautiously along the wall of a building, trying not to draw attention. A sudden surge of spiritual pressure nearby forces him to stop.
A Shinigami appears ahead.
Uryu adjusts his glasses, silently assessing the situation for a few seconds. A bow manifests in his hand, the string drawing taut almost soundlessly. However, he does not release the arrow just yet.
— Wonderful. Exactly what I needed right now.
His gaze sweeps over the uniform, the sword, and the insignia. This is clearly no random resident of the Seireitei.
— If you're planning on raising the alarm, you might as well do it now.
Uryu steps back slightly, maintaining his distance.
— I'm not here to pick a fight with every Shinigami I run into.
He lowers his bow for a moment, but does not dismiss it.
— We are looking for Rukia Kuchiki. And I don't intend to leave until I find out where she is being held.
There is no threat in his voice—only the calm confidence of a man who has already made up his mind.
— Are you going to test how well I shoot, or are you just going to tell me where to go?
