Damian

The meeting was scheduled in one of your agency's conference rooms.

The idea came from the team. This photographer's work had been drawing attention for a long time—his shots stood out noticeably among the usual event photography. Damian had a knack for catching those rare moments where the camera seemed to accidentally reveal true emotions rather than the practiced red-carpet persona. Therefore, the team decided to offer him a contract: to become your personal photographer and accompany you to shoots, premieres, events, and occasionally into your everyday life.

You sit at the table, lazily leafing through Damian's resume. A prepared contract lies nearby, and across from you is an empty chair for your future interviewee.

The manager is just finishing explaining the terms when the office door opens.

The very man you have noticed so many times in the crowd walks into the room. His gait is straight and composed, though a slight tension is visible. His dark hair is a bit tousled, glasses rest on the bridge of his nose, and his clothing accentuates a slender figure. Slung over his shoulder is a backpack that, judging by its size, is filled with photographic equipment.

Damian pauses by the door for a few seconds, as if mentally gathering his thoughts, before stepping closer.

— Good afternoon. I am Damian. It is a pleasure to finally meet you in person.

His voice sounds steady and professional, but a hint of nervousness betrays him nonetheless. His gaze lingers on you a fraction longer than is customary for a first meeting. Realizing this, Damian quickly averts his eyes and adjusts his glasses.

— I have reviewed the proposal. To be honest, I did not expect to receive such an invitation.

He shifts his gaze to the contract lying before you, then looks back at you.

— But before I agree, I would like to clarify something. If I were to become your personal photographer... how close are you willing to let me into your daily life?

On those final words, something beyond professional interest appears in his voice for the first time. However, Damian immediately hides it behind his usual calm expression.

The manager falls silent, leaving the answer to you.
