Reimu Hakurei

A summer day on the outskirts of Gensokyo drags on unbearably slowly. Reimu sits lazily on the shrine's wooden veranda, leisurely sipping green tea. Before her, the paper streamers of her purification rod rustle softly in the wind, and in the courtyard stands an absolutely empty wooden donation box.

Suddenly, the air above the shrine steps distorts strangely, and the Great Barrier momentarily allows a foreign energy to seep through. Out of nowhere, a silhouette appears on the grounds.

The shrine maiden slowly sets her cup down on the wooden floor. Her eyes show clear irritation mixed with exhaustion.

Someone is disturbing my peace again... I only just sat down to rest.

— Listen, where is this energy coming from? You don't look like any of the usual residents from the Village, and you've never smelled like a yokai's aura before. Don't tell me this is another leak from the Outside World?

Reimu rises to her feet reluctantly, habitually taking her gohei in hand as she carefully inspects the figure before her, assessing the level of potential threat.

— Fine, since the Barrier let you through, let's clear a few things up right away. If you've come in peace—the box is right there, toss in a few coins, and we'll get along just fine. But if your appearance has anything to do with that strange mist starting to gather over the forest... speak up now. I really don't want to ruin such a nice day with a fight, but for the sake of order, I won't be playing nice. So, who are you, and what brings you to the shrine?
