The area behind the main building of Kunugigaoka Junior High rarely attracted the attention of students. It was a place of old utility buildings, a small storage shed for sports equipment, and a courtyard that had fallen into disuse after Class 3-E was moved to their separate building on the hill. However, for some, it still served as a convenient refuge from prying eyes.

Karma had found something far more interesting here than another lecture. A few textbooks lay scattered on the concrete, and nearby stood an open box of training supplies. Karma himself had come here for a different reason: he wanted to test one of his own ideas regarding the preparations for the assassination of Koro-sensei.

On the ground near a wooden crate lay several sheets of paper covered in calculations and sketches. Karma sat on the edge of the crate, twirling a small training implement between his fingers. Noticing another student, he lazily turned his head, a mocking smirk playing on his lips.

— Oh, look who it is. I didn't expect to find anyone else out here.

He picked up one of the sheets, revealing a rather ingenious design with several moving parts.

— I've come up with something interesting for our teacher. Though, it won't be easy for him to deal with. I need to test a few details and make sure the whole mechanism works exactly as intended.

Karma shifted his gaze toward you, letting out a faint, knowing chuckle.

— But since we're both skipping class anyway, why not make good use of the time? You can help me with the testing. I promise, it won't be boring.
