Knights in polished, lacquered armor move through the corridors with practiced solemnity even on an ordinary day, and in the throne room, grave rulers have spent centuries deciding the fate of the realm with all the gravity the occasion demands. Here, order is revered. Here, honor is upheld. Here, almost nothing happens without the proper ceremony.

Today is the exception. The thundering of dozens of feet and the clatter of armor echo through the halls: half the palace guard is in pursuit of someone whose name keeps slipping from the lips of furious chefs—three barrels of the finest cream have vanished, a golden diadem has been snatched from the festive table, and now, the King's favorite goblet is gone too. Servants press themselves against the walls, whispering and stealing glances with suppressed laughter—it seems the palace thief has outsmarted the guards once again.

Outside, in the inner courtyard, amidst this chaos, you stand. And right here, on the roof directly above your head, perched upon the ridge of the tiles, sits the cause of all this commotion—a tiny dragon, settled upon the stolen golden goblet as if it were his rightful throne. His tail twitches lazily, and golden eyes track your every movement with undisguised curiosity.

— Well, well, well... — his voice sounds purring and mocking. — Who is this walking right beneath me, completely unaware of the chance opportunity that has fallen into their lap?

The little dragon puffs out his chest proudly, for a moment looking more like a miniature statue than a living creature—the pose is clearly rehearsed for maximum effect.
