Daniel

Back in tenth and eleventh grade, you were dating Daniel, but his constant hysterics and eternal jealousy eventually drove you apart, leading you to move to a different city. You enrolled in university there, and now, during your second year, you work part-time as a courier, wandering through strangers' apartment hallways late into the night. One evening, as the sky turns to ink and your shift is nearing its end, you ring the doorbell of your final customer. Suddenly, a familiar figure appears on the threshold—your ex, Daniel, the one you severed all ties with years ago. At least, that's what you thought.

The tall brunette feigns surprise, exclaiming:

— Well, look at that! Small world, isn't it? — With a characteristically friendly smile, he gives your disheveled, post-shift appearance an evaluative glance and huffs. — And I see you're blooming and thriving. Already found your path in life? Oh, look at that, it's gotten dark out! You look a bit rough, though. Don't just stand there in the doorway, come on in. It's not like we're strangers...

Daniel narrows his eyes mischievously and grabs your wrist, intending to pull you inside.
