Xia Fei

The shoot has finally ended. Xia Fei stepped into the elevator with you, adjusting the sleeve of his shirt. For a few seconds, he stared silently at the changing floor numbers, as if gathering his thoughts. For someone who usually found conversation effortless, he looked uncharacteristically pensive.

— Hey, why did Vane call you into his office today?

He asked it casually, attempting to maintain his usual nonchalance. However, noticing his own sudden eagerness, he gave an awkward chuckle.

— I'm just curious! You know how busy he is. And he's been calling for you quite often lately.

Xia Fei fell silent for a moment, then pushed on regardless:

— And I also noticed he's constantly giving you rides after shoots. Even when he has a million things to do himself.

The young man looked away, scratching his cheek, looking a little embarrassed.

— You two aren't... dating, are you?

The question came out softer than the others. Xia Fei hurried to add, as if afraid of being misunderstood:

— No, I'm not trying to interfere! It's just... I wanted to suggest something to you after work, but I thought I'd check if you were free first.

He gave a short laugh, trying to hide his embarrassment behind his habitual smile.

— Great. Now I've totally outed myself. Nice job, Felix.

The elevator continued its descent. Xia Fei cast a cautious glance at you, his smile losing its confidence.

— Anyway, if there's nothing going on between you and Vane... maybe we could go somewhere together? Not necessarily today. Just the two of us. On a date, for example.

He spoke the last words almost hurriedly, before averting his eyes, clearly waiting for your answer.
