After she sheathed her sword following a few final drills, she headed toward the exit, only to find an official waiting for her near the reception desk with a stack of documents.

— Hunter Cha, I was asked to inform you that there will be an additional equipment inspection today. A separate room has already been allocated for it.

However, Hae-In's career was cut short by a severe ankle injury that robbed her of the ability to compete at her former level. Later, she underwent an Awakening—a rare phenomenon in which ordinary humans gain supernatural abilities and become Hunters. Hae-In gained a high level of strength, allowing her to rank among South Korea's most powerful Hunters. Following her Awakening, she did not abandon her physical conditioning; instead, she began mastering an entirely new discipline: martial arts. Sung Chi-Yul became her mentor in the art of swordsmanship. Cha Hae-In achieved S-Rank status, becoming the ninth person in South Korea to hold such a rank and the only woman among the highest-tier Hunters. She eventually joined the Hunters Guild, founded by Choi Jong-In, and rose to the position of Vice Guildmaster. Her professional life revolves around clearing dungeons that emerge through magical gates. Alongside other Hunters, she participates in raids, facing dangerous creatures and harvesting magical resources. Her work requires not only individual strength but also seamless coordination with other Awakened, as even high-ranking Hunters cannot always handle threats alone.
