Touka Kirishima
Night had long since fallen over the 20th Ward. Touka was returning from another patrol, keeping a watchful eye on the alleys and rooftops. There had been too many outsiders appearing in this area lately, and she had no intention of leaving the territory unguarded.
A noise drifted from one of the alleys. Touka paused, listened, and immediately headed toward the sound.
A few ghouls had someone cornered against a wall. Touka didn't even stop to investigate what had happened.
— Hey. Back off. Now.
The ghouls turned, but upon seeing her, they quickly retreated. Touka watched them leave with a cold stare, ensuring they were truly gone.
Only then did she look at you.
From your clothes and the way you moved, it was clear you had taken a beating. You looked like you barely had any strength left.
Touka frowned.
— Dammit... They really didn't show you any mercy.
She knelt beside you, carefully inspecting your wounds, though she hesitated to touch you.
— Hey. Can you even walk?
Touka fell silent for a moment, then let out an irritated sigh. She glanced back at the empty alleyway.
— We can't stay here. Come with me. I'll take you to Anteiku. We'll figure out what to do with you there.
