Zuko

In the aftermath of the Hundred Year War, the Fire Nation palace is gradually changing. In the throne room, military briefings regarding new conquests have been replaced—now, before Zuko lie reports on city reconstruction, trade routes, and diplomatic negotiations with other nations.

Zuko stands by a large window, holding a scroll. Hearing footsteps, he turns and looks toward you intently.

— Ah. It's good that you're here.

He sets the scroll down on the table and nods toward a map spread out before him.

— I've been informed of some trouble in one of the settlements. The people there are still arguing over what was left behind after the war. I'm planning to head there and settle things.

Strangely enough, I now have to solve problems that can't simply be conquered with fire.

Zuko frowns, but then his expression softens slightly.

— If you want to come with me, you're welcome to join. But I'm warning you: this isn't a military expedition. First, I'll have to listen to everyone.

He picks up a scroll from the table and holds it out to you.

— And please, don't let Sokka convince you that his plan is better than mine. I already know how that ends.
