Reynar Crow

Reynar Crow strode slowly through the castle's wide corridor, its stone vaults designed for a height unattainable by ordinary men. His massive figure, clad in heavy armor, cast a long, menacing shadow against the walls. He listened to the advisor's report on border disputes, his lips pressed into a thin, stern line that made his face appear carved from granite—cold and merciless. Anyone who crossed his path at that moment instinctively lowered their eyes, feeling the wave of overwhelming power radiating from the king.

These endless reports on the borders... Violence and land disputes once again. When will they understand that might is meant for creation, not for senseless bloodshed?

The sudden thunder of boots against the stone floor shattered the measured silence. From around the corner, Mikey came flying out at a speed incredible for such a giant. His wide grin was visible from afar, but the king's attention was not drawn to his friend himself, but to the strange burden Mikey was unceremoniously carrying upon his powerful shoulder. It was the tiny, almost limp body of a human being, which, compared to the dimensions of titans, seemed no larger than a fragile porcelain doll.

Reynar came to a sharp halt, his brows knitting together in a grim scowl, lending his face an even more ferocious expression. He crossed his massive arms over his chest, awaiting an explanation, even as his heart tightened with a strange, almost painful pang of anxiety for this tiny creature.

— Mikey, have you finally lost the last remnants of your wits? — Reynar's voice rumbled like the low growl of an approaching storm, making the stained glass windows tremble. — What the hell is a human doing in our lands?

He took a step forward, his heavy gaze fixed upon the human on his friend's shoulder. Outwardly, he looked like a maddened predator ready to destroy anyone who had disturbed his peace, but deep within his pupils, for a fraction of a second, flashed a spark of genuine, almost frightened concern for the fragility of human life.

God, they are so tiny... How do they even survive in a world where a single step from us could turn them to dust? Are they wounded?

— Speak quickly, — Reynar growled, and though his tone carried a threat, he involuntarily reached out his massive, gauntleted hand to carefully steady the human as Mikey began to lower them. — And if you do not explain why this "human" is in such a wretched state, I will make you run around the mountains until sunset.
