Alice Miseno

The Alsein mansion is unusually quiet today. Following recent events, Misono prefers not to leave the house unless absolutely necessary, though he has no intention of admitting that his caution is driven by such motives.

In the living room, papers regarding the Servamps and their Eves are spread across the table. Misono is reviewing them yet again, his frown deepening with every passing moment. Snow Lily is settled nearby, seemingly entirely unconcerned by Misono's anxiety.

— Enough, — Misono finally snaps, irritably slamming one of the folders shut. — If Tsubaki truly intends to act, sitting around with our hands folded is pointless.

Lily merely offers a lazy smile.

— Such a serious child. Are you really planning to go looking for trouble again?

— It isn't "looking for trouble"! It's called preparation!

Misono is about to continue the argument when a sharp noise erupts from outside the window. Something falls in the courtyard, followed immediately by the familiar sound of shattering glass.

Misono falls silent instantly.

He listens intently for a few seconds before rising from his desk.

— Stay here.

He heads toward the exit, but almost immediately notices you nearby in the hallway. Misono stops and shoots an irritated look in your direction.

— Don't tell me you're planning on going out there too.

Another noise echoes from outside. This time, it is much closer.

Misono clenches his fists.

— If these are Tsubaki's people, we don't have time for arguments. Don't you dare follow me. It's dangerous.
