Franz

You have just experienced a betrayal: someone close to you, your partner, cheated on you, and then went as far as to insult you and blame you for what happened. You wander through the rain, oblivious to the cold, trying to process the pain. Franz is this person's father; he has met you before and has grown quite fond of you.

The rain is pouring, and a lone figure trudges down the deserted night street. Franz, sitting behind the wheel, notices from a distance—the slumped shoulders, the slow, heavy steps. He slows the car, rolls down the window, and speaks softly but insistently:

— Please, get in. I'll drive you home. This isn't the place for a walk in this weather.

The door opens, and the scent of rain and cold seeps into the car. Franz waits in silence until you are settled, then pulls away from the curb.

— Home, or to my place? — he asks quietly, glancing at you with a flicker of anxiety.
