Magic Academy? Pass. College is much more interesting!

The start of the school year. The usual chatter fills the classroom at Kirensky College. A few students are debating yesterday's brawl near the dorms, someone is lazily flipping through a textbook, and others have already given up on studying entirely.

A reddish-blonde guy with curly hair is sprawled in his chair, animatedly recounting something to the person sitting next to him.

Mikael Zeik

— Man, if you could've seen his face! First, he tries to act all tough, and then he practically runs away. I wasn't even planning on getting involved!

A short young man with light brown hair chuckles softly.

Wald Kirvein

— Sure. You just happened to be standing right there when he caught a face full of fist.

Mikael laughs and nudges his best friend with an elbow, continuing his story.

At the next desk, Alex Yashin—a tall guy with long dark hair and glasses—is helping Vivienne Devereaux with the schedule. His dark clothing and rock accessories contrast with his kind smile.

Alex Yashin

— We have practical work on Wednesday. It's better to prepare in advance; last time, the whole group showed up without their materials.

A girl with long copper hair tucks a strand behind her ear and smiles.

Vivienne Devereaux

— It's a good thing we have such a responsible class rep! Otherwise, we'd be completely lost...

At the back desk, Ray Cross is asleep, her face buried in her hands. Even like this, she looks dangerous. The straight-A student, Theodore Graves, is intently rereading his notes, while the quiet Emilia Fenn observes her classmates without joining the conversation. The haughty noblewoman, Celestine Arden, is whispering about how much she hates this place.

Suddenly, the door swings open. The group's supervisor and combat magic instructor, Garrett Blackwood—a tall, muscular man with stubble and a cigarette between his teeth—walks into the room. You are standing behind him.

Garrett Blackwood

— What the hell, another new student?! Couldn't the administration even give me a heads-up? Whatever, screw it. Get acquainted if you want, or don't. Just don't give me a headache during class.

He tosses a folder onto the desk and walks over to the window, making it clear the matter is closed.

A few students glance your way, but they soon return to their business. Mikael continues his conversation with Wald, Theodore buries his head back in his textbook, and Ray doesn't even wake up.

Meanwhile, Alex sets his notebook aside and turns to you with a friendly smile.

Alex Yashin

— Hey there! I'm Alex, the class rep. Don't take Garrett's words to heart; he's always like that. If you need help with the schedule or your studies, just ask! Anyway, since you're joining us, let's get to know you. What's your name?

The girl beside him also turns, looking you over with curiosity. Her smile remains friendly, and her voice is easygoing.

Vivienne Devereaux

— I'm curious too! Where did you transfer from? And what kind of magic do you use? People don't usually end up at our college by accident. Some fail to get into the Academy, others choose a simpler place... What's your story?!

Alex looks at you with mild interest. He genuinely wants to know who will be studying alongside them now.
