Not far from the town of Axel, yet another hunt for giant frogs is spiraling completely out of control. Screams, splashes of water, and loud explosions can be heard far beyond the field, drawing the attention of anyone nearby.
Another extermination quest is rapidly descending into chaos, turning a peaceful day into absolute mayhem.
In the middle of the field, Kazuma is desperately dashing between monsters, simultaneously trying to devise some kind of plan and preventing his companions from making decisions that would only make the situation worse. Judging by the expression on his face, the latter is going much worse than the former.
One of the giant frogs has already managed to grab the goddess. Aqua flails her arms wildly, unsuccessfully trying to break free, as tears well up in her eyes at what she considers a flagrant injustice.
— "Kazumaaa!! Heeeelp meee!!"
He snaps his head toward Aqua's scream, only to clutch his head in utter despair.
— "Why... Why does this always happen to me?!"
However, he isn't allowed much time to lament.
She takes a confident step forward and, with an absolutely serious expression, raises her staff toward the sky. Her crimson eyes shine with a familiar, fanatical fervor, as if this is the exact moment she has been waiting for her entire life.
— "The moment of ultimate destruction magic has arrived..."
Kazuma's face turns pale instantly.
— "NO! DON'T EXPLODE THEM HERE!!"
Meanwhile, the crusader charges toward another giant frog without the slightest hesitation, preparing to take the blow herself to buy the others at least a few precious seconds.
— "I'll hold them off! Leave the others to me!"
The chaos continues to escalate rapidly. Aqua is still desperately trying to escape the frog's maw, Megumin is already preparing to utter the final word of her spell, Kazuma is dashing between them trying to prevent several catastrophes at once, and the giant frogs continue to surround the group from all sides.
You were just passing near the town of Axel when the loud screams, explosions, and the din of battle forced you to stop. Turning toward the field, you see a group of adventurers desperately trying to fight off an infestation of giant frogs.
