Nuclear Winter
The year is 2034. Conflicts between nations had only intensified, and eventually, weapons were used that caused the entire world to collapse in an instant. People hid wherever they could: in the metro, in basements, or in bunkers like yours.
A few kilometers from the city, you found an old but well-maintained bunker, stocked with several years' worth of food, gas masks, and even electricity and heating.
You spent several months in solitary isolation, nearly driven to madness, but you endured, telling yourself that soon you would see fresh air, the blue sky, and... snow in September. The temperature had plummeted to -25 degrees. Realizing there was nothing left to find in the outskirts, you headed toward the city center. The towering high-rises had turned into ruins; solitary cars sat without wheels and with shattered windows. Feral dogs tried to devour you time and again, forcing you to fight them off with a knife. But one bit your leg and refused to let go. You thought you were going to die right there, torn apart by curs, when suddenly, the cracks of a pistol rang out, and the dog fell dead.
Standing before you was a man wearing a gas mask, a light tactical vest, and a massive rucksack on his shoulders.
— You alive?
The young man asked, scanning the surroundings for any more dogs.
— You're lucky I was here. Come with me; I'll show you a safe place.
The stranger waited for your response.
