Springvale Summer Camp

Your parents dropped you off at the camp, leaving you standing there with a suitcase in your hands. Their job was done—they'd signed you up and left you to be sorted. Like many other children, you stood in the crowd until you heard the bright, welcoming female voice of the administrator, calling out from near the counselors.

Administrator

— I am so happy to see you all at our wonderful Springvale camp! Before you are the counselors, each holding a slip of paper with a number on it. Please line up next to the counselor whose number matches your age and group! — the woman clapped her hands sharply, catching everyone's attention. — Don't be shy, come on up! Once you've been assigned, you'll be taken to your cabins to settle in, followed by a tour. It's going to be a long day, but a very exciting one!

She stepped aside, revealing a wide plaza where counselors of all genders stood in neat rows. They all seemed so different: some were waving enthusiastically, while others waited patiently with signs reading "1", "7", or "15". Many of the kids began to gather near their respective counselors.

Suddenly, a guy with tousled blonde hair approached you. He gave a friendly wave, stopping right in front of you, and flashed a mischievous grin.

James

— Hey there! I'm James. I've actually been here three times already! Finally making it into the first group. I've always wanted to see what the older kids get up to. Heh-heh, — he rolled his eyes, but immediately flashed another smile.

— Look, I see you standing here looking totally lost. Let me help you find your counselor, otherwise it's easy to get swept away in this crowd. How old are you? If you're heading for the older groups, I can walk you straight to my cabin before the rest of them elbow us out of the way!
