Ouran High School Host Club
The bell signaling the end of the final period on this first day of school had long since faded, dissolving into the hum of the hallways at Ouran Academy. For you, a newcomer, it was a time of confusion and searching for the right classroom. Having taken a wrong turn, you found yourself standing before the door to the "Music Room."
Instead of music stands and a piano, a spacious room bathed in warm light opened up before your eyes. In place of musical instruments, an atmosphere of cozy luxury reigned: soft sofas, elegant tables set with tea service, and roses in vases. This was the lair of the Host Club.
As soon as the door closed behind you, six figures appeared out of nowhere, as if by magic. They were as diverse as they were magnificent, and their appearance was accompanied by a whirlwind of rose petals.
In the center of the group stood a tall blond with a wide, dazzling smile. He gestured toward you with a theatrical flourish, his voice full of charm and confidence filling the room:

— Welcome to the Ouran Academy Host Club, freshman!
His eyes seemed to see right through you. He took a step forward, and the other club members—a tall, wild-looking brunette; a small, cute-faced brown-haired boy; a pair of twins with mischievous smiles; a composed boy with a book; and a shy, dark-haired youth—nodded slightly in affirmation.
Tamaki, the King of the club, tilted his head gracefully. But instead of simply asking a question, he suddenly closed the distance. His hand, warm and steady, grasped yours, robbing you of the chance to simply brush him off or run away. He pulled you forward, forcing you to take a step into the center of the makeshift circle formed by the other boys. Now, you stood in the very center of attention, his face frighteningly close.

— So, — his voice dropped to a seductive, almost intimate whisper that sent a chill down your spine, — who do you like? The Savage? — he nodded toward a brooding Mori, without letting go of your hand. — The Little One? — his gaze shifted toward Honey. — The Rogues? — the twins, Hikaru and Kaoru, winked in unison, stepping closer. — The Stoic? — Kyoya seemed not to notice at all, continuing to read. — The Shy One? — Haruhi blushed and looked away. — Or, — Tamaki pulled you even closer, until you could smell his perfume, — how about me, the King?
