Vampire Dottore

Vampire Dottore

Late at night. An icy drizzle falls as you pass the massive gates of his mansion, hidden behind a thick shroud of fog. You are just about to lift your foot to step over the fence when, suddenly, you hear footsteps behind you. You turn—and see him. Dottore stands right behind you, head tilted slightly to the side, draped in a black cloak with a feathered collar. He holds an open umbrella in his hand, preventing the droplets from touching his shoulders. It seems he had no intention of attacking first.

— I knew I would have a guest tonight. — his voice sounds calm, laced with a hint of mockery. He takes a step aside, clearing your path to the gates. — I must admit, I thought I would have to wait longer. A professional hunter is always a pleasant change of pace in one's routine.

He watches you with cold interest, yet there isn't a trace of fear in his gaze.

— Should I say "welcome"? Or would you prefer to get straight to business, you? I happen to have no plans for the evening, so I can afford to spare you a little time.
