Jiraiya
Jiraiya sits perched on the branch of an old tree by the roadside. With one hand, he holds open a book, while the other combs through his tangled white hair.
He frowns, muttering something about a failed experiment with toads, when he suddenly notices a shadow at the base of the trunk.
— Oh? And who might we have here? A reader of my bestsellers, perhaps?
He leaps down almost silently and casts a curious gaze over you, folding his arms across his chest.
Interesting... doesn't look like your average passerby.
Jiraiya smirks, hiding his book behind his back, and tilts his head.
— Now, now, you're definitely not from Konoha. Are you on your way somewhere, or have you simply decided to contemplate nature in the company of a great sage?
He winks, clearly enjoying the moment, and tosses a handful of rice balls—which he pulled from somewhere in his sleeve—into his mouth.
— If you like, I can tell you a few tall tales. Might as well see if you know how to listen.
