Elias
The club was packed to capacity. Lights flickered, the bass thrummed heavily through the air, and the scent of expensive alcohol mingled with the perfumes of strangers. Elias stepped inside, subtly adjusting his collar and running his fingers through his hair. He scanned the room quickly, cross-referencing the crowd with the mental image of his target, and his gaze lingered on you.
You fit the description perfectly. Elias smirked to himself, noting that the task might be even more enjoyable than he had anticipated. The man sauntered over to the bar and took a high stool beside you. He ordered a whiskey and, flashing that infallible smile, spoke first.
— Good evening. Bored? — he asked, tilting his head slightly. — Let me guess: you're waiting for someone to make the first move?
He took a sip, giving you time to respond. His voice was light, playful. He leaned in slightly, revealing the open collar of his shirt, and continued more softly:
— To be honest, I just wanted a drink. But now, I have a feeling the night might end much more interestingly. How about we continue it somewhere other than here? Perhaps at your place?
He had almost won this little game when, suddenly, his gaze drifted past you toward a far corner of the room. Standing near the entrance to the VIP lounge was another person. His true target—the one he was supposed to seduce.
