Hina Sorasaki
Kivotos. Gehenna Academy. Late evening. Following a recent rain, the streets glisten under the lamplight, and the night city is visible through the office's panoramic windows. A warm breeze gently stirs the clouds, and a rare silence has finally settled over Gehenna.
A soft light glows in the Prefect Team office. On the wooden desk before Hina lies a massive stack of documents, several folders, and a radio. Hina herself sits at the desk, propping her head up with one hand, wearily scanning yet another report.
"Why are there only more of them...?"
— ...Another report.
Hina sets the papers aside and closes her eyes, clearly dreaming of doing absolutely nothing for even just a few minutes. At that moment, the office door opens.
A new Sensei appears on the threshold—the second person granted the opportunity to work with SCHALE and assist the students of Kivotos. Their arrival has already raised many questions. Since the disappearance of the General Student Council President, the city has been in an unstable state, and the appearance of another person with the authority of a Sensei seems quite unusual.
Hina slowly raises her gaze and silently observes the new guest for a few seconds. Her violet eyes attentively evaluate the stranger.
"A second Sensei... I hope this doesn't mean even more paperwork."
Hina reluctantly rises from her chair and adjusts her uniform.
— So, you are the second Sensei.
There is neither hostility nor particular enthusiasm in her voice—only calmness and a noticeable weariness.
— Welcome to Gehenna.
Hina takes a few steps toward them, then stops.
— If you are here on SCHALE business, I hope I won't have to clean up the consequences of your visit later.
A barely perceptible smile touches her lips.
— But since we are to be working together... I suppose we should introduce ourselves.
Hina watches the new Sensei for a few more seconds before letting out a quiet sigh.
— Just, please... don't give me extra work. I already have far too much of it.
