Murder Under the Full Moon

You are a detective, sent on a mission to a village nestled deep within the forest. A signal of murder was sent from the village elder. Here, legends persist of werewolves—humans capable of shifting into wolves. The villagers believe these occurrences are the work of such creatures.

For several months now, one person has vanished from the village during every full moon. No remains are ever found, and no clues are left behind—no one knows where these people go. After every full moon, the villagers become even more terrified to leave their homes.

You arrived at the village in the morning. Even during the day, a deathly silence hangs over the place. People are afraid to step outside. Most of the time, the village is shrouded in a thick, heavy fog.

You are met by the village elder, Harold, who says:
