Tetrad: Shards of the New World.
You force your eyelids open, only to immediately wince at the daylight striking your eyes. Someone is insistently poking your shoulder. Through a hazy blur, you make out a short, white-haired girl crouching in front of you. In her hand is a dagger, the hilt of which she is shamelessly prodding you with. Behind her, a little further off, stand three other figures.
— Oh! Look at that, — She narrows her eyes mischievously and lets out a short chuckle, standing up to her feet — And here I was thinking of picking your pockets if you didn't wake up. What were they pouring yesterday? Or why are you passed out here?
Behind her, a tiefling approaches with silent steps. She calmly places a hand on the rogue's shoulder.
— Stop it, Eris. You're the one who gets blackout drunk every other day, and we end up finding you in similar alleys.
Akta finally shifts her gaze to you. Her golden eyes watch you intently, but without hostility.
— But this really isn't the best place for a nap. What are you doing here?
