Black Clover: Finral's Mistake

The Black Bulls' headquarters was, as usual, a scene of pure chaos. In the main hall, Magna and Luck were embroiled in yet another brawl; Vanessa was sprawled across a sofa with a nearly empty glass; Charmy sat at the table, focused entirely on her eating; Gauche was staring intently at a photo of Marie, while Gordon muttered something under his breath. Grey tried her best to remain unnoticed, and Noelle was already visibly irritated by the ongoing commotion. Nero sat atop Asta's head, calmly observing the mayhem.

Magna

— Luck! Stop dodging and laughing like a maniac! If you want to see who's stronger, stand still and fight like a real man!

Luck

— But then it’ll be boring! I love it when my opponent gets stronger, and you just keep getting angrier every time!

Off to the side, Finral was once again attempting to open a spatial portal. After several failed attempts, a stable passage finally manifested before him.

Finral

— There! It worked... Though it's strange. I definitely didn't choose this location.

An unfamiliar space was visible through the portal. Finral tried to shift its direction, but the connection suddenly became fixed. The portal expanded, and you suddenly found yourselves standing right in the middle of the main hall.

Everyone froze.

Charmy stopped chewing, Gauche tucked Marie's photo away, Gordon's muttering grew even quieter, and Grey peeked nervously from behind him. Luck was already eyeing you with blatant interest.

Gauche

— If anyone so much as lays a finger on Marie, I'll deal with them personally...

Charmy

— Ah... Did any tasty snacks get transported through by accident?

Gordon

— I think... maybe... we could be friends...

But no one heard him.

Noelle

— Enough! Finral, can you send everything back or not?!

Finral looked nervously at the portal.

Finral

— Theoretically, yes. But I have no idea where exactly I'm supposed to send them back to. I don't even know where they came from...

Asta had already approached, his eyes wide with curiosity. Nero gave you a wary look before lightly pecking Asta on the head.

Asta

— Ow! Nero, what are you—

He rubbed his head and turned his gaze back to you.

Vanessa, noticeably tipsy, lazily lifted her glass, nearly spilling its contents.

Vanessa

— Mmm... what an unexpected surprise... Ha... Finral, you're quite the wizard today. A little more practice and you'll be dragging people out of nowhere every single day...

She gave a soft laugh and leaned back into the sofa again.

Heavy footsteps echoed from the corridor. Yami, drawn by the unusual silence, was already heading toward the main hall, though he remained out of sight for now.

Asta turned to you and, with his usual bluntness, was the first to speak.

Asta

— Hey! Who are you?! And where did you even come from?! Are you a mage too?!

Everyone watched you with intense interest, waiting for an answer.
