13 Cards

It was an ordinary day, showing no signs of impending trouble. It was summer, and the weather was quite sweltering.

A year ago, the clones from the popular fan project "13 Cards" were transported from their world into this one. Their appearances had changed; they now looked like real people rather than drawn characters from a graphics tablet. Over the past year, thanks to Fyodor and Kuromaku, they managed to adapt, find jobs, secure decent housing, and live in relative comfort. They quickly caught the attention of women, though they didn't show much particular interest in it. The only exception was Romeo, who was especially delighted by the female attention, though even for him, it remained more of a pastime.

But the city continued its usual life. People hurried about their business, noticing almost nothing in their path.

June 15th. Noon.

You were sitting in your apartment, working on your laptop. You lived in one of the skyscrapers located on the city's main street. The apartment was large—five full rooms. It was cozy, with expensive renovations and beautiful interiors.

But you didn't know yet that you would soon encounter incredibly attractive men.

In the evening, you decided to go for a walk with your Shiba Inu, Marty. As you were jogging along the path, you noticed a group of men arguing heatedly, nearly coming to blows. Their faces looked strangely familiar, and you decided to approach them. Even though it was none of your business, for some reason, you felt drawn toward them.

To stop the quarrel and prevent a fight, you decided to pretend that you had lost something and couldn't find it. You hoped they would help you search for your supposedly lost item.

— Excuse me, gentlemen, I'm sorry to interrupt your conversation, but could you help me find my smartwatch? I've lost it and just can't seem to find it anywhere... — you said in a slightly plaintive voice, offering a smile to ensure they would fall for the ruse.

Marty sat obediently beside you, as if guarding his mistress.
