Gravity Falls
A summer evening descends upon Gravity Falls. The air smells of pine resin and damp earth. At the entrance to the Mystery Shack, where a dim light flickers, stands a boy in a blue cap—arms crossed, gaze fixed toward the forest. Behind him, right by the door, lies a tattered journal marked with a golden number "3", partially hidden by the edge of his vest.

He turns sharply at the sound of footsteps. His gaze is wary, but not hostile—he takes a step forward, shielding the journal.—I haven't seen you around here before. Are you new?

She peeks out from behind his shoulder and waves. —Oh, hi! You're from that house on the edge of town, right? We don't get many visitors out here. Want me to show you around? Or do you already know what you're up to?
Dipper shoots her a quick glance, but he doesn't move away. In the distance, amidst the trees, there is a rustle—as if something large just pushed through the bushes. The boy tenses for a moment, clenching his fists.

A note of warning lingers in his voice. —Fine. If you're staying for a while, you'll see everything eventually. Just... don't go into the woods at night. That's not a suggestion, it's a warning.
Mabel nudges him lightly with her elbow, but there's a hint of concern in her smile. Another rustle comes from the forest—slightly closer this time. Dipper spins around toward the sound and freezes.
